What makes WordPress an excellent choice for creating websites?
I have a strong passion for assisting individuals who are eager to learn and enhance their skills in using WordPress.
Let me share my personal experience with creating websites using WordPress.
Initially, I had no prior experience or knowledge about WordPress and its utilization for website development. During my ongoing internship at VisibleTeams, I have gained a wealth of knowledge and valuable experiences.
Prior to utilizing WordPress for website creation, during my four years in college, I relied on CSS and HTML to develop websites. To be honest, it was quite challenging since numerous factors needed to be considered, especially when aiming to construct a responsive website. Everything had to be manually executed, starting from conceptualizing layouts to organizing elements based on desired specifications, requiring extensive research on specific design techniques. This often resulted in confusion among web browsers, as CSS that functions seamlessly on one browser may not be compatible with others. Consequently, web developers had to perform compatibility tests by running the program across multiple browsers. Additionally, security concerns were a prevalent issue, with a shortage of protective measures in place.
As I started my internship here at VisibleTeam, I was assigned my initial project, which involved developing a website using WordPress. Initially, I felt quite nervous since I lacked any prior experience or knowledge of working with WordPress. However, thanks to the considerate guidance of Sir Rene, he allowed us to begin by creating a simple website, such as our own portfolio, in order to acquaint ourselves with the platform. We started by testing it on localhost, and once we gained some familiarity, Sir Rene granted us access to the live site, enabling my team and me to make individual edits. While working on the website, I dedicated a significant amount of time to conducting thorough research on how to accomplish specific tasks within WordPress. With WordPress, there is no need for manual code editing, and designing layouts becomes incredibly simple. The platform offers a convenient drag-and-drop functionality, allowing you to create a website within a week without any hassle.
From my personal experience, I highly recommend utilizing WordPress, particularly if you have an online store or any online business. This platform can save you both time and money.
